For this week's blog, I will be talking about hip-hop and how it has become one of the most vital, and profitable, forces in popular culture. Rap music is now an international art form and is regularly heard in advertising and on radio and television. I will be looking specifically at the Beyonce- sorry taking a deeper look at the video. For the Beyonce "sorry" I would say that there is no role in this music video when you watch it without the sound but will sound I would say the men's role is the targeted audience. The role that the women have in this video is the role of dominant, as well as independent. In this video, the story about male and female sexuality is that the men are not needed and the female would be found without a male. The story about sexuality is that a female just needs to be able to seduce men because they know that their body alone will get a female what they want. What story (besides sexuality) does the visual music video tell? Another story this video tells besides sexuality is the story of women having a fun time just be the lack of better word I would say they show them all giving the impression they are all "bad bitches". I watch this video without sound and it was so interesting how the video story completely changes without sound. When I watched the video with sound I got the whole concept of the video the women walking through the hallways with to me the underlining meaning to that was they female walking away from the man and looking back at the camera was they looking back a the men basically saying it at it since this is the last time you will have me. when I watched it without the out it gave more of the story of girls being silly but at the same time all having the same mindset. I think that the target audience is 18 and up. I do think that adolescents watch this video and are influenced by this. what I think they learn from this video about men is that they are all dog's and that women are able to get a man to see what they will be missing out on by wear clothing that is revealing as well as by them shaking their ass to seduce men.

To examine the content of the lyrics of this song pop that its meaning refers to a women opening her legs for intercourse it also talk about how women should not speak they should continue to perform oral sex on the man It also talks about giving women drugs so they are more willing to have s ex as well as lasting longer during sex because they are intoxicated. The way the lyrics of this song construct masculinity is how the artists talks about how many women he has and how easy it is for him to get women to sleep with him as well as how he has the lifestyle they women want to live . It also talk's about having money he refers to the godfather mean is has drugs and money in the palm of his hands. The images in the video construct a particular vision of women's body is nothing but the purpose of men looking and seeing as walking sex images, the way the video construct a particular vision of masculinity is by having the men dressed will chain's but better known as "bling", they also have them showing they have a substantial amount of alcohol. These are just a few examples of images this video portray. The purpose of this video is to show the lifestyle of a rapper is and how they have so many options of who the can have sex with I also get from watching this video the image that its a huge orgy

Media fake or not
When I think about if the media fail's to challenge the claims made by our politicals leader to attempt their original purpose being In a democracy, journalism has three basic and necessary functions: to provide an accounting of people in power and those with designs on power to provide and ensure a diversity of opinions on important issues so that citizens can form their own opinions to check facts, assure for accuracy, and point out lies. does the media execute these three necessary functions and challenge them as well, when needed. I think that the media stills fails to challenge the claims that are made my our political leader, I think this is because our current political leader is so out to regress that the media, in the beginning, was so intrigued by him that, they wanted more they enjoyed his outrageous claims aka fake news. I believe that he is currently are the political leader because the media gave him enough press to his fake news claims even though in my opinion it was bad press it gave him enough attention that people became interested in him. With that being said I think that now some media are started to questions some of his claims he throws out there. Which is cause his to get defensive and claim that the news networks that are questioning him are so-called fake news. Their was a recently a news reported that commented on this exactly claim
This is an example of how some media is starting to get tired of our Political leader claims and are pointing them out. I believe that this is just the beginning of the media to start questioning the claims made by our political leader.

video game violence
There has been many mass shootings in my opinion due to gun violence that is a result of emphasis on militarism in video games. i also believe that the video game marketing weapons through their product. There is one person that comes to mind when i think about an example of this, the shooting of Anders Breivik. “Anders Breivik said he actually used his video game ‘Call of Duty’ to train for mass murder,” Dr. Paul Weigle, a child and adolescent psychiatrist at the Joshua Center, in Enfield, Conn., told FoxNews.com. “He called it training simulation. And certainly there were some reports Adam Lanza saw Breivik as a rival, and he was also engaged in shooting games and even the same one.” http://www.foxnews.com/tech/2013/09/12/training-simulation-mass-killers-often-share-obsession-with-violent-video-games.html. With that being said i think that these video games are not the main reason for there violent crimes, their mental health i believe plays a huge factor , but i do think the video did contribute at little bite.

Happy violence to me is when some sort of violence that is not moralize but the media is trying to bring it to are attention but not explain its consequences. Some example that i think of that this is shown on television is 60 minutes as well as recently there was a show called the The people v. O.J. Simpson:American Crime Story. I think that this shows happy violence because this was a based on a husband possibly murdering his wife, but because the husband was a famous football player it became a huge televised case. This is normally not a situation where people would be amusing to but because the media created an out look for us it case Americans to want more. The media as showed the speed chase of O.J. live this speed chase was what stared the media to broadcast speed chase now. I believe that by them showing this speed chase it made it seem cool to run away from the cop's. Overall the media make this murder case to come of glamorous.
60 minutes as so shows this but making us curious on how these murder cases when taken place. This also creates us to think this is normal and happening more often then it is really is. Created Americans to believe the world is more dangerous than it really is .

post two media owns
Now Looking at the channels I watch ,which are Bravo , ABC CNBC, E, VH1, and CBS.Their are many company that controls
their messages. Going into more depth into these channels.Walt Disney owns ABC their revenue is 40.1 billion dollars which i think is crazy that their over all revenue it hat high some other channels that are owned my them are ESPN and Lifetime. Bravo, E and CNBC is owned by Comcast Corporation their revenue is 55.8 billion dollars. They are the largest cable company shows and residential internet service provider and one of the worlds biggest producers of TV shows and motion picture now reaching almost every home in America. they hold 23.6 million cable subscribers. CBS is owned my CBS corporation they own anything that's has CBS as well as Warner brother, their revenue is 14.2 billion dollars. Lastly Viacom organization owns VH1 also Bet , their revenue is 14.9 billion dollars they are the 4 largest media conglomerate the control over 160 network reaching 60 million people . Now that i have more of a clear understanding that there'are 10 main organizations that own the TV market i can now see how everything we are expose to is to get a larger picture or statement out. by seeing what network are under the same organization i can see how they are owned my the same company their show are very similar to one other just just on a different channel but just about the same story or topic. I am now curious, if the networks where allowed to have more freedom what the would produce. For example Netflix is privately owned and the shows they produce are so different its not like your main stream show which i think is why they do so well .

"Allegory" help us understand media and media influence by understanding that what we are influence at a young age follows us threw are adult years . As children we do not think that what we are watching for entertainment and what kind of music we listen influence more then we realize . As a child you are not think about the type of entertainment your watch and the long term affects it going to have on you . Allegory talks about this as well he states that "part of the soul , if it had been hammered from childhood, and had thus been struck free of the leaden weight , so to speak." My interpretation of this is that your childhood influences have an impact on your values are . As well as i think that so many of us are not aware that everything we are given as entertainment is the organization advertisement . With that being said i think that Allegory helps media influence by knowing that what is being said people take the information and believe it , all of the times they do not go and do research on the information that is being given they just take it and run with it . I am not quick sure if Allegory helps us understand media , but i do think it help us understand the effect and the influence of media
